The Seasonal Prep Cook is responsible for prepping food and workstations, assisting in the making of meals, following recipes exactly, maintaining a clean and organized work area, following guidelines and instructions, and working well as a team. The Line Cook will be expected to follow food and knife handling safety guidelines and will ensure that high quality and well-presented food is what is presented to guests.

Grants and Compliance Officer | Apply by August 16, 2026

The Grants and Compliance Officer leads First Americans Museum’s (FAM) institutional grants program and manages the full grant lifecycle—from prospect research and funding strategy through proposal development, award administration, reporting, compliance, and closeout. This position is FAM’s principal grant writer and grants systems owner, responsible for building a strong pipeline of foundation, corporate foundation, government, and other institutional funding aligned with the Museum’s operating, programmatic, exhibition, capital, and strategic priorities.

The Grants and Compliance Officer works across departments to translate ideas into fundable projects, develop credible budgets and outcomes, maintain disciplined internal processes, and ensure FAM meets every funder commitment. The role requires excellent writing, sound judgment, project management, and the ability to lead complex work without direct supervisory authority.

The part-time Store Associate provides a superlative customer experience for all First Americans Museum visitors, members, and customers. Store Associates perform a variety of functions, including ringing up sales, maintaining the store, and assist with inventory replenishment. As the “face” of FAM to our visitors, the Store Associate helps ensure a welcoming and positive experience for the museum’s diverse visitors. This role includes weekdays, weekends, and occasional evening shifts.

The Assistant Manager is a true support position for the General Manager and Executive Chef, helping lead 39 Restaurant, 39 Café, and Events & Catering operations. The Assistant Manager holds staff accountable to high standards of quality and service, supervises front and back of house employees, and steps in to run operations in the absence of the General Manager or Executive Chef. This position requires flexibility to work across all three departments as needed, with a schedule that may range from 40 to 50 hours per week depending on business demands. The Assistant Manager plays a vital role in fostering a culture of integrity, innovation, and exceptional service within 39 Restaurant and Café, for Thirty Nine Enterprises.
