Explore the galleries on your own or with a knowledgeable guide! First Americans Museum has exhibition tour options for groups of all types and interests. Highly trained Cultural Ambassadors and docents provide tours that encourage conversation and spark your curiosity.

First Americans Museum provides daily walk-in tours of the exhibitions for visitors. No reservation needed—simply meet your friendly guide in the Hall of The People! Walk-in tours are included with admission for individuals, families and groups of less than ten. Tours range between 30-60 minutes and can be adapted for families with children or visitors with specific interests.

Coming with a tour group, company, organization or college or university? First Americans Museum welcomes groups of 15 or more to explore the museum’s architecture, visit the galleries, and enjoy amenities such as the restaurant and FAMstore. Groups visiting together will receive an introduction and Q&A in the Xchange Theater before taking a self-guided tour of the exhibitions. You may also use the reservation form to purchase a bundle of tickets to distribute to your group to visit on their own.

K-12 School Tours

Students in grades K-12 are honored guests at FAM! Beginning January 10, 2022, the museum will offer a guided highlights tour that activates critical thinking, encourages dialogue and aligns with curricular standards. FAM also offers boxed lunches featuring Indigenous-inspired foods accompanied by a presentation on food sovereignty and health. To submit a visit request, please complete this form no fewer than three weeks prior to your desired visit date.
