Internships at First Americans Museum
First Americans Museum offers an Internship Program to undergraduate and graduate students that correlates with Fall and Spring semesters. The unpaid internships offer professional experiences in several departments including Curatorial, Learning & Engagement, Human Resources, Development/Membership, Communications, Food & Beverage and Retail. The Internship Program provides participants with firsthand professional experiences to learn about the various roles and responsibilities within the museum. Internships are based on departmental needs and selections will be made pertaining to the skills and interests of the intern. FAM strongly encourages applicants of diverse backgrounds and experiences within a variety of academic disciplines to apply. The application period for all internships, planning for both Fall and Spring placements, is open from January 1st-March 15th.
