Learn the art of porcupine quillwork with celebrated artist Monica Jo Raphael (Grand Traverse Bay Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians [Anishinaabe]/Sicangu Lakota). Included with tuition is an artist-supplied quillwork kit and supplies, which you may use for future projects. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of traditional quillwork on birch bark and will leave with a holiday ornament in progress.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Workshop tuition is non-refundable nor transferable to another workshop. If you cannot attend, we can convert your unused tuition to a tax-deductible gift to FAM. You may also designate someone else (a family member, a friend, etc.) to attend the workshop in your place. In the case of inclement weather, power outages, instructor illness or other issues, FAM may need to cancel a workshop. Every effort will be made to notify students as quickly as possible via email. In the case of cancellation, students will receive a complete refund credited on their original form of payment.
